Actors and Characters in the Elden Ring Movie
The official story of the Elden Ring movie has not yet been revealed, and it is also unknown which characters the actors will portray. However, below we have made some guesses based on each actor's appearances and past performances:
Kit Connor - Godwyn

Kit Connor was one of the earliest confirmed actors for the Elden Ring movie and is expected to be one of the main characters. He is a young British actor who has previously worked on Rocketman, His Dark Materials, Grandpa’s Great Escape, and more recently, Heartstopper.
Looking at Kit Connor, it is clear that he will portray a younger male character in the Elden Ring movie. Depending on the timeline of the story, we predict it will take place close to the Shadow of the Erdtree, and he might portray an unknown tarnished or a more recognizable figure like Godwyn.
His hair color and physique are consistent with Godwyn's characteristics. Additionally, with rumors that the film will follow Vyke’s story, it is possible that Kit Connor could also portray Vyke.
Ben Whishaw - Rykard

Ben Whishaw is a fantastic actor with an impressive range. He is known for his role as Q in the new James Bond films, and for productions like The Lobster, Perfume: The Story of a Murderer, and Cloud Atlas. He is often recognized for portraying mysterious or cunning characters. This makes him a perfect fit for the role of Rykard, who is a large, evil, ugly serpent.
Rykard could be an excellent role for Ben Whishaw because he is one of the most unique demigods in Elden Ring mythology. Besides Rykard, I can also see Ben as White Mask Varre or Radagon. His height and acting skills make him suitable for many roles in Elden Ring’s mythology.
Cailee Spaeny - Melina

Cailee Spaeny is a young actress expected to play the lead female character in the Elden Ring movie. She is known for productions like Alien: Romulus, Priscilla, Civil War, and On the Basis of Sex. The young actress seems like a perfect choice for the character Melina in the Elden Ring film.
Melina is a maiden who guides tarnished characters in the game and helps them level up using runes. Since she is one of the main characters in Elden Ring, it would be a significant mistake for her not to be included in the film. Cailee Spaeny fits Melina’s appearance perfectly.
However, if the story is centered around Marika’s rise to divinity, she could also portray a young Marika. Or, it is possible for her to play both Melina and young Marika simultaneously, as Melina is considered one of Marika’s children.
Tom Burke - Radahn

Tom Burke is a strong and robust actor who has previously worked on projects like The Souvenir, Only God Forgives, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, and Black Bag. Therefore, I think he is an excellent choice to portray Radahn in the Elden Ring movie.
Tom Burke’s physique fits Radahn perfectly, but according to the game’s mythology, a bit more CGI will be needed for him to look truly gigantic. Besides Radahn, I believe Tom Burke could also portray Godfrey in the film.
Havana Rose Liu - Ranni the Witch

Havana Rose Liu is one of the two Asian (or Asian descent) actresses in the Elden Ring film. This likely means they will portray related roles. She is known for projects like Bottoms, No Exit, Bleu De Chanel, and Lurker.
In terms of appearance, Havana perfectly embodies the role of Ranni the Witch. Although it is not stated that Ranni is an Asian character, both of their appearances strikingly resemble each other. Besides Ranni, it is possible for Havana to portray an unknown Black Knife assassin, as these assassins are entirely female.
Sonoya Mizuno - Renalla

Sonoya Mizuno is a Japanese-born English actress known for some fantastic films like Ex Machina, La La Land, Maniac, and Annihilation. If she is connected to Havana Rose Liu’s character, Renalla is expected to portray the Full Moon Queen and the NPC who resets skill points using Larval Tears in the game.
Sonoya is quite tall, which aligns perfectly with Renalla’s appearance. Her age is also compatible with the character, and she could deliver a fantastic performance for this role. It would be great if the Elden Ring film included the love story of Rennala and Radagon. Besides Rennala, it is possible for Sonoya to be cast as Malenia as well.
Jonathan Pryce - Sir Gideon Ofnir

Jonathan Pryce is one of the most recognized actors in the Elden Ring movie. He has previously worked on projects like Game of Thrones, The Two Popes, Brazil, and Tomorrow Never Dies. Jonathan Pryce is known for his success in portraying religious or wise figures, making him a perfect fit for Sir Gideon Ofnir.
Besides Gideon, I think Pryce could voice characters like Morgott, Rykard, and Maliketh, simply by using CGI to bring iconic characters back to life.
Ruby Cruz - Miquella

Ruby Cruz is a young actress known for projects like Bottoms, Mare of Easttown, and For All Mankind. Due to her short stature, she may have a chance to portray Miquella, although Miquella is expected to be a 'male' character.
Other potential choices could be Nepheli Loux, Godfrey’s daughter and Gideon’s adopted daughter. She resembles how Nepheli might look in a live-action adaptation, and if both Gideon and Godfrey are chosen, it is possible for Nepheli to have a role in the story. Additionally, she could also play Fia, the friend on the deathbed, but this currently seems unlikely.
Nick Offerman - Mohg

Nick Offerman is a well-known figure in the Elden Ring film. He is recognized for projects like The Last of Us adaptation, Parks and Recreation, Devs, and We’re the Millers. His robust physique and ruthless personality align perfectly with Mohg, one of the demigods in Elden Ring.
However, fans want him to portray Iron Fist Alexander, which could be possible. However, the likelihood of Mohg appearing in the film is much higher than Alexander, as he is one of Marika’s children.
John Hodgkinson - Smithing Master Hewg

John Hodgkinson is one of the older actors in the Elden Ring film and has appeared in many iconic films and TV shows. He is known for projects like Skyfall, Napoleon, Boyz Unlimited, and Witless. His personality and appearance seem perfect for the role of Smithing Master Hewg in Elden Ring.
Hewg is one of the ancient beings in Elden Ring’s mythology and could appear at any time in the Lands Between. This makes his appearance in the film likely, especially since he is a blacksmith capable of crafting weapons that can kill gods. Besides Hewg, I think Hodgkinson could also take on the role of Gideon.
Jefferson Hall - Morgott

Jefferson Hall is a veteran actor who has played some iconic roles in his career. He is known for projects like Tenet, Oppenheimer, House of the Dragon, Game of Thrones, and Halloween.
His appearance, like a veteran who has gained experience in battle, makes him a perfect choice for a character like Morgott in Elden Ring. Additionally, I think Jefferson could also take on the role of Godwyn, as he has noble-looking features and blonde hair.
Emma Laird - Marika

Emma Laird is another famous British actress known for projects like 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, 28 Years Later, A Haunting in Venice, and The Brutalist. She seems like a perfect choice for the role of Marika in Elden Ring. Her features align perfectly with how we imagine Marika’s story, especially with her blonde hair.
However, if she does not take on the role of Marika, she could also be considered a potential choice for Malenia, but that seems unlikely.
Peter Serafinowicz - Godfrey

Peter Serafinowicz is a well-known figure in the Souls community. He previously voiced the character Pate in Dark Souls 2. He is also recognized for projects like Guardians of the Galaxy, Spy, and John Wick: Chapter 2. Now, while Pate is a character similar to Patches in Elden Ring, I find it difficult to see him portray Patches in the film unless he is only doing voice work.
However, his appearance and age align perfectly with Godfrey, the first Elden Lord’s characteristics. This seems like a more realistic choice than a character like Patches, as Patches needs to be thin and slippery.
These are the actors for the Elden Ring movie. What do you think about my predictions regarding which characters the actors might portray in the film? Share with us in the comments section below.
