Everyone's eyes were on Take Two during the iicon event, waiting for any hints about the next GTA 6 trailer. While Take Two's CEO spoke about GTA 6 price rumors, the more attention-grabbing discussion was about L.A. Noire, one of Rockstar Games' classics. With RDR2 becoming one of the greatest successes of all time, everyone is expecting Rockstar to reboot its next franchise, which may finally be confirmed. Take Two's CEO finally made a statement about whether L.A. Noire would get a sequel, so find out what he said here.

Demands for L.A. Noire Sequel Addressed by Take-Two CEO

During the iicon event, Zelnick was asked about a possible L.A. Noire sequel from Rockstar Games. Responding positively, he suggested that we might see more of Rockstar Games' older IPs in the future, but he couldn't give a definitive confirmation about L.A. Noire. Here is his full response:

In general, we are considering doing something with all our intellectual properties in the future. There is no specific announcement about L.A. Noire, and if there is, it should be announced by Rockstar, not me. However, in any case, regarding our legacy IPs, our teams are always looking at what we have and thinking about it. The issue is, at any given time, do we have a team eager to work on it?

While this may disappoint fans of the L.A. Noire IP, there is a glimmer of hope for those who play other Rockstar franchises. Zelnick essentially confirmed that Rockstar is considering doing something with its intellectual properties in the future, which at least means that some of Rockstar's old classics may receive a sequel.

If this isn't an L.A. Noire sequel, I hope we see a remake or sequel for Bully. The original was a huge success, and a sequel would be well-received by Rockstar's core fanbase. Max Payne is also a franchise that could be rebooted with next-gen graphics, and it's something I'm looking forward to. As Remedy works on the Max Payne 1 and 2 remake in collaboration with Rockstar Games, this could pave the way for a possible sequel in the future.
