The highly anticipated Arc Raiders Riven Tides update is almost here. Every raider has their eyes set on this special update, marking the end of the Escalation roadmap. Arc Raiders Riven Tides Update Full Patch Notes
The Arc Raiders Riven Tides update will go live on April 28, 2026, at 02:00 PDT (or 05:00 EDT). The Riven Tides update includes a new map, an ARC enemy, an event, and more. Here’s everything added to Arc Raiders according to the latest patch notes:
New Map: Riven Tides
As previously confirmed, the new map in Arc Raiders, Riven Tides, is here and located on the western coast of the Rust Belt. The new Arc Raiders map is based on a coastal area that has been abandoned not once, but twice. The map features an abandoned resort and a massive dock area. Raiders can explore along the coast to find incredible amounts of loot in these areas.
New ARC Enemy: ARC Turbine
When you venture to the new Riven Tides map, don’t forget to look up at the sky. You’ll see a machine resembling a giant hot air balloon, which is the new ARC enemy, the ARC Turbine. This ARC is claimed to be docile, but its defensive capabilities are said to be “harsh.” According to the descriptions, this new ARC enemy will be a unique ARC in the game.
New Small Map Condition: Beach Search
The previous Flashpoint update introduced the Close Inspection map condition, and the Riven Tides update introduces a new small map condition called “Beach Search.” Players can use a new device called Dockmaster’s Detector to uncover buried loot hidden beneath the coastal sands. It has been confirmed that this device will occupy a weapon slot during gameplay, so keep that in mind when acquiring one in the game.
New Items: Soft Ground and Reinforced Landing Gear
Two new items in Arc Raiders that can prevent fall damage, Soft Ground and Reinforced Landing Gear, are being added in the Arc Raiders Riven Tides update. “Getting from A to B is never an easy task in the Rust Belt, but it becomes even harder when A is 100 feet high and B is solid, exploding ground. With two new fall reduction items, skilled Raiders can learn to defy gravity, as long as they keep their focus.”
New Event: Last Resort
Similar to Flickering Flames, a new event called “Last Resort” is taking place in Arc Raiders with the Riven Tides update. Players must collect mini Ship Models hidden in each region. Each model has a unique Merit value based on its rarity. Find them and earn merits to win Junior Outfit, Hydrolog Backpack, Hose Attachment, Brass Tap charm, new emotes, and 250 Raider Tokens in-game.
New Raider Project: Bird Alarm
Following the High Gain Antenna project, a new raider project called “Bird Alarm” is here. Raiders are tasked with building a new temporary security system to detect tremors and atmospheric changes. Then, you’ll need to place cages in the paints to capture birds along the Riven Tides coast.
By completing the new raider project, you can unlock the Dockmaster’s Detector device needed for the Beach Search small map condition. Additionally, by finishing the Bird Alarm raider project, you can earn Jelly Patch, Birdhouse Backpack Attachment, Air Punch emote, and 250 Raider Tokens as rewards.
New Cosmetics
Following the Riven Tides update, two new costume sets have arrived in stores. The Solare Set wraps you in ceremonial layers and woven fabrics, suitable attire for those who greet the sunrise as a ritual. The Rachetta Set puts deception aside: bold colors, athletic cuts, and a focus on speed for Raiders uninterested in stealth.
