Arc Raiders Mission Guide

With the new Arc Raiders update, all traders are offering new missions on the Riven Tides map where raiders can embark. The severe storms over the Rust Belt have caused significant damage to the sea walls on the coastal map. Therefore, Apollo wants players to help document the adverse effects of the storm along the coast. Here’s a guide we prepared to help you complete the Battening Down mission in the new update.

How to Complete the Battening Down Mission in Arc Raiders?

Fortunately, the new Battening Down mission added with the Riven Tides update is quite simple. All you need to do is collect samples, take photos of the cracks, and repair a leaking oil pipe on the shores of the Riven Tides map. Then you can log out of Arc Raiders.

Make sure you have enough Adrenaline Shots while running along the coast. As always, bring enough Shield Rechargers and Bandages, because you can never know who might disturb you during the raid. Here are the steps on how to complete the Battening Down mission in Arc Raiders:

1. Take Photos of the Cracks in the Sea Wall

You can start the mission by going to the right corner of the Post Authority Building near the Seabed. When you reach the end of the sea wall, you will see a prompt to take a photo of the nearby cracked wall. Press the E key to start taking photos of the cracks, and the first objective in Apollo’s new mission will be completed.

2. Sample the Shore Near Hotel Beach

Apollo’s second objective in the new mission in Arc Raiders is to collect seaweed samples. Reach the northern tip of Azzurro beach. You will now see plenty of seaweed on the shores of the Riven Tides map. Interact with one to collect the sample, and that’s it!

3. Repair the Leaking Oil Pipe in the Northeast

The final objective in the Battening Down mission is to repair a leaking oil pipe on the northeastern part of the coast. After collecting the samples and photos, continue running toward the end of the coast, and you will see the leaking pipes.

When you approach one, you will see the option to repair the pipe. Press the E key to weld the leaking pipe, and this means you have completed the Battening Down mission in Arc Raiders.

After completing these three objectives, you can return to Speranza and talk to Apollo to receive your rewards. Here are all the rewards you can earn by completing Apollo’s Battening Down mission in Arc Raiders:
